What’s new in RayClock
What we added and improved, by month, newest first.
This page lists only changes that affect your work: on the web, in the mobile app, at the NFC station, in reports, in payroll export and in the AI assistant connection. Several small changes are merged into one line.

-
The iPhone app on the App Store
The RayClock iPhone app is on the App Store: clock in (wall NFC tags included), see shifts and documents from the phone, with the same email and password.
-
Connect to ChatGPT and Claude
You can connect RayClock to ChatGPT or Claude and ask in plain language who worked, how many hours, and what is still missing this month.
-
Month-end from the chat
The AI assistant checks what is missing before month close, locks the month and exports reports, and makes each change only after you approve it.
-
Admin actions from the chat
An admin can add and update employees and departments, fix punches, assign shifts and send team announcements from the chat. Punches the assistant adds or fixes are marked with it as their source.
-
AI assistant for managers and employees too
When the admin allows it, managers and employees can connect too: an employee can clock in, see their hours and request leave from the chat.
-
Reports by work site
The daily, monthly and consolidated reports can be filtered by work site, so you can see each branch on its own.
-
Location check per site
You decide for each work site whether to block punches outside its radius, and a punch made inside any site’s radius is accepted.
-
A notice when the schedule is published
When you publish the shift schedule, employees get a notice that their schedule is ready.
-
Monthly output for the Israel Innovation Authority
For a project on an approved Innovation Authority file, the system produces the monthly output under procedure 200-02: the employee declares, the development manager approves, and the signed month is locked.
-
Projects and tasks, redone
Each project has its own page with its tasks, hours by period and an overview, and the reports have a single projects report by period.
-
The "My hours" screen
Employees see their hours by day, week and month, and the days where a report still needs to be filled in.
-
The Android app on Google Play
The RayClock Android app is available on Google Play for clocking in, shifts and documents from the phone.
-
Kiosk mode inside the app
An Android tablet becomes an NFC card clock-in station using the same app employees install, with no separate kiosk app.
-
Pay for your plan inside the system
Choose a plan and pay by credit card directly inside the system, without waiting for a sales rep.
-
Accountant portal
An accountant sees one row per client showing whether it is ready for payroll, drills in, and downloads the files themselves, with access the client grants.
-
Budget vs. actual for projects
Set a project budget in money or in hours and see how much has been used, with a warning about hours that have no rate.
-
Everything an employee needs, on the phone too
From the app employees can fill in Form 101, edit punches within the permissions you set, see shifts and documents, and pick a task when they clock in.
-
Open shifts, swaps and availability
Employees mark their availability, ask for swaps and take open shifts, and the system warns when an employee lacks a valid certificate the shift requires.
-
Phone notifications
Alerts about documents to sign, requests, certificates about to expire and unclosed workdays arrive as push notifications in the app.
-
Team announcements with read receipts
Send an announcement to employees from the system and see how many of them have read it.
-
Birthdays and key dates
The system reminds you of birthdays, work anniversaries and dates you add, and can send a greeting on the day from a template you set.
-
Breaks as time windows
In the work profile you set a break window and whether it is paid, and a paid break counts toward working hours.
-
AI-assisted employee import
Upload an employee file, the system recognizes the columns on its own, and you confirm before the import.
-
Digital Form 101
Employees fill in and sign Form 101 in the system, and you see who has submitted and what is still missing.
-
E-signature and payslips
Send a document for signature inside the system instead of scanning paper, a signed document is locked against changes, and each employee sees their own payslips.
-
Onboarding and offboarding
Ordered checklists for each stage of employment, and an onboarding the new employee completes on their own.
-
Leave accrual
Set an accrual policy, balances update on their own, and at the end of employment you can record the payout.
-
HR reports and scheduled delivery
Reports on leave liability, headcount and turnover, and any report can arrive by email on a schedule.
-
A fuller employee record
Certificates with an alert before they expire, a register of equipment handed to the employee, your own fields, and employee requests to update their details.
-
An alert when a day does not add up
When an employee left a shift open or did not report on a workday, their manager gets an alert in the system once the day is over.
-
One-tap clock-in on the phone
A start and end button in the app, with location when it is required, and no NFC tag needed.
-
Task sync with Jira, Monday and Asana
Tasks from the tools your team already uses come into RayClock, and hours are reported against them.
-
Each manager and their departments
A department manager sees and manages only their departments and those under them, and there is an org chart with positions.
-
A DAT file for Shiklulit
The payroll export for Shiklulit can now also be produced as a TAMAL-5.DAT file, alongside the Excel file.
-
The first version: attendance, absences and reports
Clock-in and clock-out, hours and overtime calculation, absence management, monthly reports and month lock, in Hebrew, English and Russian.
-
Shiklulit export, projects and activity log
A payroll file for Shiklulit, hours by project, employee documents and an activity log that shows who changed what.
